Lemon Grass Shikanji
INGREDIENTS
1-Lemongrass sticks 2 numbers
2- Lime 4 numbers (green colour) /Lemon 3 numbers (yellow colour)
3- Salt to taste or black salt
4-Sugar to taste
5-Cumin roasted and crushed 1 tea spoon
6- Soda water (if you want it bubbly)
7- Chilled water 1liter
Prawn lemon grass coriander soup
It’s a quick spicy and lemony soup, once you have all ingredients, it won’t take more than 10minutes .
It’s generally made very spicy but you can control chillies as per your likings.

1-Lemon grass sticks cut into 1cm
2- Few mushrooms 3-4 numbers
3- Broccoli few floweret
4- Lemon leafs two numbers
5- Lemon Juice 5ml
6- Coriander chopped
7- Carrot cut into roundels or sliced
8- Tomato diced one number
9- Vegetable stock 1liter
10- Red chilli paste
11- One fresh green chillies slit into two
12- Garlic three cloves
13- Ginger 20gm thin slices

Mandalay Fish Curry
Mandalay Curry gets it’s name from Mandalay hills where the Royal Palace of the Konbaung Dynasty is located, which was the last monarchy and independent kingdom of Burma. In 1886, present day Myanmar was conquered by British colonial forces. Ratanapunja was the ancient name of the city. Burma housed many Buddhist and hence lot of vegetarian food, meat was part of very few people till 18 century.
Mandalay curry is basic Burmese curry. It’s a coconut based curry and is perfumed with lemon and lemongrass. It’s a sweet, sour and spicy curry. The aroma of the lemongrass is so fresh that it puts me at ease. Coming in from the hot sun, I like to enjoy a nice cold lemongrass drink. Burmese use lemongrass for cooking curry or soup. Today we will witness an authentic Burmese curry, that will shake your senses.
